Six Sigma Black Belt
Black belts are also individuals who are technically oriented, highly regarded within their respective discipline, and are directly involved in the organization. The goal of the Six Sigma Black Belt training is to create a group of in-house individuals with the capability and ability to apply and use Six Sigma tools.
The theory and application of such tools is achieved through classroom instruction, project planning, on-the-job experience, on-site coaching and consultation, and standard project reviews. The overall program objective is to develop key individuals with the fundamental
stistical knowledge and skills necessary to implement, sustain and lead an initiative within a target business unit or operation.
Six Sigma Black Belts apply structured problem
solving techniques, postulate theories and
develop improvement plans. Using statistics
they discover and implement innovative solutions.
